Back from Ocracoke Island with new stories and information needed for book four. Chester Raccoon and The Acorn Full of Memories is out as is CD for Chester Raccoon and The Big Bad Bully

Blackbeard’s Legacy: Shared/Time is almost finished. First draft, that is. But. again, the characters are writing the book and I am sitting back and enjoying their adventure. Blackbeard was a hero to many runaway slaves. When in Book III, the children help the pirate-ghost move The Stone of Scone, he leaves a mirror in the ground for the kids to find. They hold it up and in the reflection is a Confederate Soldier. Mark learns the magic of the mirror and they end up in 1861 Ocracoke, the day Fort Hatteras falls. Problem is, mirror didn’t travel with them.

Chester Raccoon is learning what it means when someone dies. His mother teaches him and his brother and friends how to make memories of their friend Skiddil Squirrel so he will never be forgotten. A beautiful aid in helping a child cope with the death of a pet or loved one.
